i love lululemon, but the pricing is not my favorite. if you’re like me, you love a good discount (which lululemon pretty much never has) or a good-quality, affordable dupe. i have tested out a few dupes (which i will post later about), but i thought tleggings deserves their OWN post. at first, i was a little skeptical about this company, BUT after receiving my leggings i immediately fell in love. tleggings is the real deal.
i first discovered tleggings in december 2019, when the company was first starting out. it is run by a young teenage girl who loved leggings, but couldn’t afford lululemon. she wanted affordable leggings, but every pair she found was awful quality. there weren’t any affordable, high quality leggings. they just didn’t exist. so, she took did some research and took the matter into her own hands and created tleggings.
in december 2019, they had a FREE for post promotion going on (and still did until april 2020) and i luckily got my leggings in that time period. you could get a pair of leggings for FREE (NO FINE PRINT! ABSOLUTELY FREE- NO TAX AND FREE SHIPPING) and all you had to do was post about it. i have seen other companies sell “free” leggings, but they make you pay for shipping. at tleggings, you did NOT have to pay for shipping. you just put in your instagram account, who referred you to tleggings, and they sent you the leggings absolutely for FREE!
unfortunately, the free for post deal ended. now, they have a 70% off for post promotion… which is almost the same. now, their $40 dollar leggings are only $12 and you can get as many as you want at that price! just post about it when you get the leggings (click here for more info on how it works). this is better than the free for post promotion, where you could only get one pair of leggings for free, and your next pair would be $40. now, you get one pair for $12, 2 for $24, 3 for $36… you get the idea. the same applies with any of their athletic apparel. AND free shipping!
tleggings look EXACTLY like lululemon aligns. they have a seamless high-waisted waistband with their logo on the back (same placing and size as lululemon so from far away they look like lulus) and a double crotch gusset. they are SOOOO comfy. they are a little thicker and a little less naked feeling than aligns. they are more of a thick, nylon/spandex material. they come in 7/8 length or capri, and mine ran a little small. i am usually a 4 in lululemon and i ordered a 6 in these and it is definitely the right fit. 4 would probably have been too small.
lululemon is always out of stock of their popular colors and sizes, but don’t worry, tleggings has got you covered. all their beautiful colors and wide range of sizes are pretty much always in stock.
i got the color dusty rose (yes, lululemon has literally the exact same color) for 1/8 the price of lululemon leggings and they look EXACTLY THE SAME! there is almost no difference. I LOVE THEM! if you need good lululemon dupes, here you go! they are a small business too, with only 17.9k followers on instagram (@tleggings) compared to lululemon’s 3.3M. i love how all of their instagram posts are pics from their customers/users. sooo cute.
